SUB ZERO STAR RATING: FROM PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I CANNOT WITH A CLEAR CONSCIENCE NOT RECOMMEND DAMELIN CORRESPONDENCE COLLEGE FOR FURTHER STUDIES

I enrolled with Damelin Correspondence College for a Conveyancing Secretary Diploma. Although I only paid half price, the Course Price is around R23 000,00.

From the onset I was faced with several unpleasant incidents such as having to wait for study material, very poor communication and almost non existent feedback. The study material also contains errors, incorrect information and obvious typing errors. In general a very bad experience thus far.

More specifically I have been battling to get my assignments marked and my results captured since March this year already. I have also not been able to get correct exam results for the exams that I wrote in June yet.

For an institution that is responsible for the training and education of students I find their conduct unacceptable and inexcusable.

They have ****** me of what was supposed to be an exciting and joyous experience and have turned it into a nightmare.

I am currently waiting on them to return yet another call where i had to leave a message because "there is no answer" at the relevant people. I am on the verge to lodge complaints with Umalusi (for failure to release the correct results), the department of Education for the poor content of their study material, and the Franchise Association for their callous treatment of their Students.

I feel done in and ******.....
