Poor or no support from Damelin correspondence college

<p>Good Day</p> <p>I have enrolled my son at Damelin correspondence college for a NQF 6 Diploma in Architectural draughting.</p> <p>They have a student support center that never answer calls ********** 141.</p> <p>I emailed them for a complaints form and had no joy. The staff at the call centre, when you do get through, are mostly very rude and unaccommodating and always throw the fact that they have a 30 day turnaround period at you.</p> <p>My son began the course in August 2016 and has been submitting assignments for marking. Till now we only got results for the very first assignment and that only after various enquiries. To make matters worse we were informed that the mark obtained was 33% and that was a fail. Upon further disputing we were informed that it was actually 33/50 marks which is a pass of 80%. I requested to get the assignment back to use as a guideline and no feedback was ever received. A further 5 more assignments was sent off with no feedback.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is terrible service and these people are playing with young peoples’ future. How can one prepare for assessments with no feedback, no tutorials, no idea of exam criteria, no example of tests. In fact no support. The entry criteria for the course is assumed that you have no knowledge of architectural draughting, but with these guys support or lack of it one cannot cope with the course.</p> <p> </p> <p>It is not only me that is having a problem with damelin.
