*********** AND LAZY PEOPLE WORK AT DAMELIN
WOW what a journey it has been with Damelin Durban - and its only June. I am attempting to summarize all my issues below: I registered in December 2018 with Xoliswa from Durban CBD branch who sold me dreams, paid my deposit and signed a debit order form. I waited, and waited, and waited for my study material which was promised to be delivered to me within 6 weeks of date of registration. After about 10 (or more) trips to Damelin Durban CBD, I eventually only obtained my study material beginning March 2019. To my dismay I noted that all assignments needed to be handed in by 29 March 2019. Also, my debits hadn't been going off. Upon querying this with them they advised that I am in arrears and that I needed to urgently make payment, which I then did. They further advised me that my debit order is not on the system and that I had to fill out another form, which I did.
I submitted all my assignments by 29 March as requested and submitted my exam registration form for June on 05 April 2019 by personally delivering these. I was told that I will get a confirmation letter by 03 March 2019 together with a personalised timetable - well all I can say is that that is a load of bull****!!!
To date, being 03 June 2019 I have not received my confirmation letter despite NUMEROUS emails to Mala (supposedly the Manager of Damelin Durban, but in my opinion is extremely useless and has not responded to any of my emails, the Shakir who is the head of registrations as advised, Xoliswa, who I registered with, Student Support, to which I have not received a response and the account department. '
I was telephonically advised that I am writing on 07 June and 10 June. It is less than a week to exams and I am not in receipt of this.
I was unable to apply for study leave as I needed confirmation of this to do same. I therefore had to take annual leave because of this institutions incompetence.
I NEED ASSISTANCE AND NO ONE IS WILLING TO HELP!!!!
