Horrific service at Damelin Correspondence College

I appeal to anyone wanting to study at Damelin Correspondence to please save their money and study elsewhere.

The student services are pathetic! You call the call centre and you wait at least 20 minutes for someone to answer or the call gets cut off.

1st problem - 18 December 2020 Wrote an exam where a specific section was not found in the study material provided and no reference to that section was ever mentioned. I wrote an email to the student manager Shakier who escalated to the exams department. Up till today, my query is still with their department and there is no feedback. No one even responds to my emails anymore.

2nd Problem Submitted 3 assignments for marking last year August (2020) I have been calling since last year and there was no feedback, eventually I was told I would receive it by 15th January 2021.

Called in 15th January - CAS106643R908F7 - no results as yet

Called in 18 January - spoke to Ishmael - got 88% for 1 out of 3 assignments and was told that the remaining 2 assignment marks should be received in the next few days.

Called in 02 February - spoke to Dezlyn - CAS105412N7B4K3 - matter has been escalated will receive feedback in 48 hours

Called in 09 February - spoke to Dezlyn - printed the assignments and physically handed them in to the assignments department for urgent marking by a tutor.

Called in 01 March - spoke to Sinazo and repeated the same step as Dezlyn above

Called in 4 March - spoke to Dezlyn who promised to call me back on Friday 5 March with feedback ------ no call received

Called in today 08 March - spoke to Jacqueline and was advised that the person dealing with my case has sent my assignments to the tutor for urgent marking (04 March) but has not received any feedback. A follow up email has been sent to the tutor. I did not accept that feedback as I have been receiving this for a very long time now - was placed on hold to speak to a manager - Shakier - after a very long hold the call dropped and here I am wasting months of my time following up with Damelin for a job they have been paid to do.

My fees are paid in full by the way and once you pay you will never get a refund.

If you think my review is not true. Please do your research and check on facebook, you will find horror stories of how students have completed their course, paid in full and 3 years later still have not received their qualifications certificate.

Unfortunately for me, I only found out about this horrific college after paying and starting the course.
