I used to pay Damelin full amount upfront every year to avoid their constant harassment if you owe them R5.00 or so. I overpaid my daughter's fees in February 2023 and I was told to "apply" for a refund after 12 weeks. I patiently waited and apply for the refund but they did not bother to response.

I then petitioned the Ministry of Higher Education to investigate the ethical Business practice of this institution which is really questionable with dubious traits.

After the DHET intervention, they came back with this response to Ministry, " the response is that the refund has been approved. The Finance department was not able to provide an exact date that this payment would be made".

One Tarryn Zank, Group Registrar, said this on 24 November 2023. Till today, this refund is not paid back despite the above admission. What do we read about the ethical practise of this institution?
