Failure to provide refund after not delivering

My wife app**** for a course through the correspondence college in January and paid the R14,000.00 fee in cash.<br> <br> Unfortunately the study pack was never delivered and up to April, we were advised that they were out of stock.<br> <br> We took the decision to cancel and get a refund, so that we could use the money in another institution, especially as half the year had passed and Damelin could still not tell us when the study packs would be available.<br> <br> It is now heading towards July and we have not received a cent back from Damelin and they barely respond to any of our emails and have given us no indication as to when we will be given our money back. It is also impossible to get hold of the necessary people over the phone.<br> <br> My wife has now lost the opportunity to even start her studying half way through the year and has basically lost this year. We do no have the funds to pay for further studying and what Damelin has done is downright pathetic.<br> <br> As far as I am concerned, Damelin has committed theft, they have ****** us of R14,000 and of an entire year!!<br> <br> When it came to asking for payment, I was called two or three times a day but now we get nothing!!<br> <br> We want our money back!
