Does Damelin EVER answer their phones and emails??

I am writing on behalf of an colleague that our organisation is currently funding to study through Damelin Correspondence College. The exam period has come and gone and yet this student never received any notification as when he would be writing exams ( he was due to start writing in March). I sat with this colleague for several hours one day, where we must have phoned the call center number over 20 times, either the call would not be answered or we would be cut off. Each and EVERY time. We sent half a dozen emails to different people that were never answered and even left comments on their Facebook page to no avail. As a last resort, we called the college in Bloemfontein ( to which some very inexperienced person answered Hallooooo!) we spoke to someone who was very rude to us ( because we apparently interrupted his lunch break) and eventually he told us it was not his problem and hung up. We are based in a small town in the Northern Cape and it is not as if we can hop into a car and drive down the road to get this resolved. To date my colleague has not received any communication from Damelin and has no idea when, or if he will be writing his exams. He is a good student who has been diligently working through this course. Our organisation has been consistent with paying his fees. This is an absolutely shocking way to be treating one of your students... someone who came to you to better his life circumstances through studying.
