Disgusting Service OR Lack Thereof

<p>Seeing that Damelin has no sense of urgency and fails to put their students first - The people who pay their salaries, here goes...</p> <p> </p> <p>I'm studying through correspondence with Damelin Correspondence College since July 2016 and I paid my fees upfront (+ R18000 cash). I submitted all my assignments to them for marking prior to the November exams, I wrote the November exams (two papers) and I was told I will receive my results in the first week of February via sms. When I got an sms from them it stated my results are being withheld due to non submission of assignments. I then re emailed ALL my assignments to the assignments department and still didn't get any feedback. I had made numerous phone calls to different places that they had referred me to and as well as sent many emails and I even voiced my frustration to them. I got no joy. First a lady by the name of Nicoletter Lawson told me to email all my assignments to her which I did. And I never got any feedback from her, not even a confirmation email stating that she had received my email. I then went on to their Facebook page and posted what has happened. A lady by the name of Alison August then contacted me and said she apologizes and that she would get back to me. She told me that the assignments department hadn't marked my assignments and that she is waiting for them. I eventually received only two assignment results from her and still to date I'm awaiting the balance of it and my final results. I've been sending email upon email to her and as well as copied other faculty members, I even voiced my frustration again and told them I demand a refund on my fees so I can go study elsewhere at a more reputable college that puts their students first, I asked what is the process to get a refund and to date I still haven't received any response from anyone. </p> <p>I went onto hello peter today and read similar complaints and I had even seen other unhappy students post on their Facebook page, more so one of the ladies from Damelin had told that I am not the only student experiencing this issue. That's a huge concern which poses the question of what is the college doing with our assignments when it is submitted to them on time!? Why are they withholding my results without any valid reasoning!? What are the employees of Damelin doing all day!? This is absolute hogwash and I will be taking the matter further with my lawyer as Damelin is wasting my time and I want my money back now, there are much more reputable colleges out there which I would rather STUDY through than spending most of my time chasing after my results! </p> <p> </p> <p>#poorservice</p> <p>#frustratedcorrespondencestudent #Damelinmustfall</p>
