****************
I enrolled at Damelin Correspondence College for their old journalism and media studies, and fully payed the tuition fee. I passed all my assignment. I did not have enough money to pay for the exams, Damelin allowed me to right the exams on conditions that they withhold my results until the exam fees are fully paid. I then wrote the eight subjects as prescribed during the 2005 and 2009 exam sessions. Subsequently my account was handed over to a debt-collecting agency which charged me almost double the exam fees. I had to pay because I wanted my certificate. Once the money was paid up, I approached Damellin and requested my results and the award. To my surprise the college told me that I passed all the but the results for one of the subjects is missing, therefore they can't issue a certificate. I know for sure that I wrote all the subjects, sighned the attendance register, have all the exam question papers I wrote and still have the exam letter. Without thoroughly investigating the matter, they told me that I must re-enrol, pay half of the price for a new course as the old one is no longer available. Is this fair? Please help me as I desperately need my award urgently, please help.
