Damelin correspondence college unfairly treated

I would like to complain about damelin correspondence college. App**** to attend there in 2017 and registration was 4300 and I paid and enrolled.within 2 months we had financial difficulties at home and I was told il have to cancel school for now and will resume again.i called the consultants and advised me to say it's fine they have made a note.i have sent them emails previously telling them of my situation. I did not attend classes or went to write exams.so I thought all is well.January 2018 they called me and told me I owe them R16000. How they said that's the amount I owe.i told them look I have called and sent an email to say I cannot continue with school and they told me it's fine now I owe 16000 from where they did not tell me.so I sent another email as per the consultants saying I should and they would respond.till today I have not gotten this issue resolved all they did was sending me masses saying they are proceeding with legal actions against me also it's not fair that they listed me on ITC knowingly I didn't attend anything or go to campus.I am heart broken and don't know what to do anymore
