Damelin Correspondence College Provides Horrible Service

I registered with Damelin in Jan 2017 and find out very soon that it was a very bad decision and choice from my side. I regret it that I never came to read reviews first before going into a learning relationship with Damelin. Where do I start? Their sales department is magnificent because they need to "role" you in and take your money, so of course, they will be very good. But then they pass you over the to the service department where your consent headaches will start. If you phone the call center, your call will either get released/dropped before anyone answers it, or you will get a standard text book answer that provides absolutely no extra information. Here is a list of non-delivery items that I experienced form Damelin:

Their student portal has been under maintenance for the entire year already, so it means absolutely nothing You have to pay R60 for an old exam paper, and the latest paper available is from 2013 They don’t provide exam time tables in time. The earliest is maybe a month before the time. So if you are working and you want to plan your time, forget about it Call Centre Service is horrifying and the agents answer the phone like they are talking to their friends You wait really really long for results. I submitted assignment packs in May and had to email about 7 people to get my results for it around the end of Aug. 3-4 months. And this is where UNISA does it in One month or sometimes less time I’m still waiting for exam results, which I wrote in June. Over three months for that

If I could give you advice… DON’T use Damelin to further your education. It’s really hard to believe in a learning institution that cannot even get the basics right, rather choose UNISA or Intec. Good Luck
