4 weeks for refund of deposit

I apply for a course at Damelin. I fill in all the necessary documents and register for the course. They approve me and I pay the deposit. In the meantime within a few hours I come across a place that supply me with the exact same course for less than half the price Damelin charges and with 3 ekstra modules included. The very next day of applying with Damelin I request a cancellation with the reason that why must I pay more than double for a course I the other institution can supply it for so much cheaper. They tell me its fine they will send it to the relevant department for cancellation. One week after I phone them and they advise me that no cancellation has been received and send me a email saying this.... You need to request a cancelation in writing, advising as to why the cancelation is requested.Receiving a cancellation letter does not mean that the course is cancelled. This cancellation request will go to the Cancellation Committee, who sits once a month.You should receive feedback on your cancellation in about 4 weeks. When cancelling a course, please be advised that there are fees involved. Cancellation fees of up to 80% and Retention fee... That is insane 4 weeks???
