Non Transparent, ********* and manipulative business practices

Signed up with a three year contract with Daisy business solutions after a disastrous system with Purevoice. The Daisy business solutions contract expired in July 2022. We had endless problems with our lines about 23 months into the contract as Daisy always blamed Telkom for the bad lines or non existent lines. They then told me that a gateway and modem (voip upgrade) for the duration had to be put in place otherwise i would not be able to use my phone system. I was later told that they put in an old analogue system so obviously they needed to offload some old stock. I signed for the gateway in march 2021 and they only installed much later around November at this time I was livid and had no telephone service and Cobus's excuse was that it was a telkom issue and until i have the gateway installed (voip) everything should be fine which should have been at no cost to me as the first contract i signed should have been honoured. Now that the system is out and my number is ported by Data talk who i am happy with is working 100 percent. Daisy still has the cheek to be charging me for a service i am not using 4 months after my contract expired. Surely the amended contract law only starts from day of signing and not day of installation. This company makes no sense to me and they always find ways to manipulate one into signing for a service you didn't think you needed in the first place. I hope that companies avoid Daisy business solutions!

Hi there I am dealing with the George branch. I am just fed up with the bad service that Daisy offers. They are about on par with Purevoice with shocking service. Consumers are not protected from the ********* practices of these companies. They sell you add on's which you shouldn't be paying for in the first place as the telephone systems should work. One cannot blame Telkom for ones lines or even if Telkom was a problem Daisy should have rectified the situation when it arose in the first place. Proactive rather than reactive. Let's hope I can get some form of compensation from them for my loss of income and using my mobile phone when I had all the problems prior to using their system. Totally unacceptable.
