Sold me a problem ridden MTB

I purchased a used Mountain Bike from Cycle Lab Fourways 3 month ago. I asked the salesman if the bike required any repair work, he said the bike is perfectly fine and that he will send it to the workshop for a check up prior to me taking the bike home to ensure there were no issues. The next day I collected the bike rode it 20m down my driveway and tubeless back Tyre came off the rim. I took it in and they repaired it free of charge.

After using the bike on short rides once a week I started noticing issues with gear changes and the steering. I decided to take the bike in for a check up at a trusted friend. The bearing inside the steering column disintegrated upon removing it and the entire drive chain was so worn it had to be replaced. When measuring the chain wear it was off the scale to which the device can measure. I had to replace all these components totaling R6500 (30% of the bikes purchase price).

As a consumer I place trust in their staff as I do not possess the knowledge they do. There salesman looked me straight in the eye **** to me. Last time i will shop at their stores.
