"One Stop Shop" coz you never go back

<p>So a mate on mine (Bruce Barron)bought his sone a brand new GT Karakom Elite from Cycle Lab boksburg 6 months ago. It included a speedometer which 920 kms. My friend asked me to look at the bike beacuse the crank was wobbling...the bottom bracket was totally destroyed on the frank side. I told Bruce to take the bike back as I was certain there was a warranty. Thr workshop immediately informed Bruce that the Bottom Bracket didnt have a waaranty....I referred Bruce to a senior salesman at Cycle Lab...as I was convinced that there was a better answer. The salesman informed Bruce that as the bike was an entry level bike (R13000) it would have inferior parts and they could contact the supplier which would take up to 4 weeks and then they would simply get the same inferior product installed again. Bruce brought the bike to me and I installed a brand new Shimano bottom bracket for R330. So, I guess Bruce and his family will find another bike shop to support. Is your company name really worth R330?</p>
