Very bad place to study
The worst place you can study at: A few issues with this institution - very misleading information on the internet regarding discounts. The fact that my son is "supposed" to be studying full time but I do understand that due to Covid that he cannot attend classes at the campus, I would assume full time means a few classes a day and not 1 class a day on teams and half the time there are other issues i.e. load shedding in the case of the lecturer etc. You still need to pay for full time and not part time. Then the way information needs to be uploaded and there is a problem with their system. My son has had various problems with assignments and their system. Only now that I have requested a report on his progress am I made aware that he needs to redo some subjects at a a further cost. No one contacted me that there were issues. All it is about is the money and not the student. A money making racket is what it is all about. I wish that I had investigated this place before placing my son there.
Thank you for the review. In regards to the statement made that CTU did not inform you regarding the academic progress made by your son, we would like to clarify that CTU has processes in place to support struggling students. CTU must adhere to the Covid-19 regulations as gazetted by the Department of Higher Education and Training to ensure the safety and well-being of our students and staff.
