DO NOT BECOME A PART-TIME STUDENT AT CTU!!!!

If you're considering studying at CTU, I recommend enrolling as a Full-Time student. Full-Time students are given higher priority over Part-Time students, who seem to be treated as secondary at CTU.

As a Part-Time student myself, I've faced challenges with communication, lectures, assignments, and classes at CTU. Despite CTU's claims to accommodate working professionals by offering evening classes, this hasn't been my experience. In fact, Part-Time students often receive the worst treatment. At the start of the academic year, there was a delay in providing us with login details for Microsoft 365, which resulted in missing the first two weeks of classes that began in March. With exams scheduled for June, it's a struggle to catch up. The lecturers for Part-Time classes mainly read off slides without visually explaining the content. They often tell us to study the remaining chapters on our own. We have four modules each semester, and for each module, we receive four assignments. The lecturers are supposed to inform us when assignments are released, but instead, we have to constantly check our portal. We often find that Full-Time students receive assignments weeks before us. These assignments seem to be designed around the Full-Time students' schedules, giving them ample time to complete them during class hours and at night. In contrast, Part-Time students have to rush to finish them at night. Moreover, Full-Time students are given explanations and guidance on assignments, while Part-Time students are left to figure it out ourselves. About 80% of the assignments require self-research since they aren't covered in class or explained by the lecturer. Considering the amount of money we pay, which is the same as Full-Time students, one would expect better support and resources. However, we're expected to "Bring Your Own Device" (BYOD) for classes and assignments. During exams, only Full-Time students are assigned seats, leaving Part-Time students waiting until they arrive to find a seat. Additionally, Full-Time students have access to plug points to charge their devices, whereas Part-Time students are left scrambling to ensure our devices are charged enough to complete exams.

In summary, despite paying the same fees as Full-Time students, Part-Time students receive fewer resources, less support, and face numerous challenges at CTU.
