Policy cancelation not done on time

I'm not happy with how my policy insurance cancelation was handled. I canled the policy as soon as I bought my car and they delayed to cancel it on time until I had to call my broker again to find out if it was canceled and only then it was canceled. I had pro rata refund which was due to me that is still not paid and now they also put through a debit order for January on a canceled policy.

It's now up to me to run around and go to the bank and reverse the debit order, this will also reflect badly on my record and all they can say is I'm sorry. It's funny how easy it is for companies to take your money and very difficult and takes long to return your money.

I'm now waiting in long quest at the bank to do this.
