Watch out when you sell off your vehicle, Ctrack will continue to charge you even if both seller and buyer have agreed to change ownership of the tracking device

I sold off my vehicle way back in October, 2016. I informed Ctrack about the sale. Ctrack sent forms for the change over of the ownership of the tracking device to the new owner of the vehicle. The new owner signed off all documents that they sent to him accepting that he will be liable for the instalments of the tracking device and provided the company with his banking information, all contact details etc. Instead of Ctrack following up with the new client on whatever information is deemed to be outstanding on his part, they want that information from me!!

To date, January, 2017, Ctrack have still not changed the debit order to the new owner and I found an email reading as follows:

"This transfer was not completed due to new client did not send proof of banking details and account is still on your name"

The question here is who between me and the new owner is expected to have the proof of banking details (i.e. a copy of the bank statement) for the new owner? This is a clear sign of a total lack of common sense on the part of CTrack. It should just take one call or email to the new owner requesting him to submit a copy of his banking details for their much needed "proof".

This guy already gave them his account details for God's sake!!!
