So now people get handed over with no communication between parties? I moved in Oxford Heights in Montana Pretoria in January and I was paying rent. Then decided to buy, okay March everything was done and I started paying bond. So here comes CSI in April telling me I missed payment of levies. Wait let me not jump, so they sent me welcome email and if I would be staying in the apartment or renting it out. If I rent out they would like to manage it for me at a cost. So I thanked them for offer but turned it down as I would be staying in the apartment and not renting it out.. Still no mention of levies and the payment process. Until I got a call from their agents told me they haven't received payment from me and that I have to pay for March as well since the previous property managent didn't pay and all that. Was told to pay 1370 for 3 months to get my account in order and this was in May. So I paid this amount until August end. Then September paid the normal amount of 774. Then I was on unpaid maternity leave. I sent them an email on the 9th November since I missed October payment so that I can make an arrangement . They did not respond to my email, they serve me a letter of demand. I asked them to make payment arrangement they tell me it's "Unfortunate" they can't they have handed me over just like that. Next thing I see my statement is 2800. Mind you I missed payment for October and November. 774 times two is 1548. I don't know how we got to 2800 something. I'm so not impressed with their communication skills to a point I regret buying their property. My question since when do companies hand over without proper communication channels? Or is it cause I'm black that I get such treatment. If I could attach their emails you'd see they don't even have empathy and they not even willing to listen to their part of the mistake due to lack of communication all they want is money. They don't care if I did not get paid they want money that's all. FNB, OLD MUTUAL, STANDARD BANK, ABSA. Their debit orders never went through but they treated me way better than CSI property management for missing October payment
