Switching off the wrong Units Lights

On the 7th of February 2014, my flatmate and I had a braai and hosted few friends, at around about 17h00 our lights were switched without a prior warning about excessive noise from security guards. We went to the facilities manager (Abie Opperman ) to enquire and he said he was instructed by the security guards to switch off our lights as they had warned on numerous times about the noise level. We approached the security guards and asked why they instructed the facilities manager to switch of our lights, the guards explained that the lights for Unit 152 should have been switched off and not Unit 162. We relayed this information to the facilities manager who after 10min of arguing switched the lights back on but said we would get a R500 fine for excessive noise (Which he has added to our rent statement for March). My complaint is that instead of apologising and admitting that he switched of the wrong Unit lights, the facilities manager was just rude and ended up giving us a fine of R500 which we now have to pay.
