REFUSAL TO PAY BACK DEPOSIT OF UNIT 528 AT EDEN ESTATE

Good Evening I hope you doing well.

I am having an issue with CSI, i was ranting a unit at Eden Estate with a lease thatvwas supposed to expire on theb31/01/2024 however i got a call that the owner of the house was not happy with the way they were doing things and she was taking over her house meaning my lease was being canceled so i negotiated with the owner on my own capacity to stay for the month of January 2024 but no lease between me and the owner.But when I query my deposit with CSI they told me they will not pay me my deposit of R6200 . The lady I spoke to says they need to speak to the owner of house first. The owner was unhappy with CSI before she took over the unit from CSI, and she's not taking CSI calls. I know she has found new agents managing the unit for her as they ince came to view and take pictures.

I sent a whatsapp text to the owner and she confirmed via whatsapp that they must pay me back my money and does not understand why they are holding my money.

So I do not understand on what basis they are refusing with my deposit money.

Please assist.
