DEPOSIT REFUND

I was renting a property from a company call CSI Rentals at a property they administer called Southgate Ridge from December 2014 till the end of July 2015. I was requested to put down 2 months deposit which amounted to R9,600 . I was lead to understand this amount was supposed to be held in an interest bearing trust account for the period of the lease and any deductions were supposed to be discussed with the tenant and a statement supp**** to the tenant on departure this company does none of these things. I moved in on the 4th of the month but still charged me for a full month and as I was staying by myself and was moving to Cape Town left money with the administration to get someone to clean the apartment after my furniture had been removed. When I received the deposit back there had been a deduction of R2,355 had been made for maintenance there was no communication just the deduction this is supposed to be deducted with the tenant and a quote supp**** before this maintenance is performed. They have charged to repaint a small 2 bedroomed unit that had one occupant for 8 months it is a total ******* so I am warning you before you rent on of CSI RENTALS properties.
