CSI rentals *****s deposits

I rented an apartment in Kyalami Hills (Riverbend estate) and had the following issues during my 13 months stay: - When we moved in the place was really dirty(this was after it was apparently cleaned) - they billed me R800 for water in my first month, and I disputed this as we only started using water from the middle of the month.I then only paid for R200 of water as initially they ignored my dispute. They then blocked my electricity so I could not buy any electricity. After numerous emails back and forth they assisted and reduced my future bills for my overpayment in water. - From the R9500 deposit, they wanter to only pay R2900 back. The deductions included things that was not valid such as wifi cables, hooks against the wall that was there when we moved in, cleaning fees in addition to the ridiculous R1450 “professional cleaning fees”, repairs to the ceiling and normal wear and tear. In addition, they ignore the area in the contract where interest should be added to the deposit as it should be in a interst bearing trust. They the took some of my concerns in consideration and reduced the deductions. The cleaning of R1450 was still added which is basically them *****ing my money as there is no way the unit will be cleaned for that money, and neither did they clean it like that before I moved in.
