CSI MIDRAND, RENTAL AGENT - WHO REFUSES TO REFUND MY FULL DEPOSIT

Last year I responded to an ad for a rental of a retirement home in Olivedale. The gentleman named Riekie was MOST helpful, honest what a pleasure to work with, He did an inspection... found lots of faults (tiny... livable ... BUT NO REPAIRS WERE RECTIFIED ... NOTHING ...

I than gave my normal 2 months notice, Riekie agree all in order. I removed the 2 paintings from the lounge and bedroom area, We got the Retirement home's maintenance to fill the holes, than painted the entire WALLS. I paid R1000.00

CSI than got a outside inspector to do the exit inspection.... 'SASHA' She complimented me on the cleanliness of the place. She mentioned that there was a patch of not so clean carpet in the door way ... but this was this way when I found the place and in the walkway... being such a small place

CSI now deducted R3500.00 from my deposit !!!! we are pensioners ... we now living with a family member Riekie referred me to the CSI OFFICE - MARISKA LIMPER, WHO REFUSES TO SEE MY POINT !!! SHE INITIALLY SAID THIS WAS DUE TO DIRTY CARPET ... I SAID REFER TO THE ENTRY INSPECTION...... I am prepared to come out and clean the patch of carpet with my hands... NOW SUDDENLY ITS FOR DAMAGES TO THE WALL HOW DOES 2 ELDERLY PEOPLE DAMAGE ANYTHING

She sent me pictures ...of marks on the wall WHY CANT SHE MEET WITH ME AT THE FLAT, AND I WILL LIKE TO SEE THE THESE MARKS ? HOW CAN THEY SAY EACH LITTLE MARK IS R350 EACH ?? HOW IS THIS COSTING DONE ! THIS IS *****ING FROM PENSIONERS... JUST NOT FAIR I am disgusted at Mariska Limper from the CSI offices in Midrand I am now proceeding with this kind of theft to the Estate Agents Board
