CSI doesn't want to take responsibility of boom gate malfunction which caused my car to have a dent

So i stay at one of the complex that is owned/managed by the CSI rental in Kempton Park. So the boom gate fell on my car causing a white dent to my car. I reported the matter but was told that the company does not take responsibility for accident, i need to claim with my insurance. What BS is that!!!
