I had a lease with one of their developments, and due to career prospects and moving to a new country, I served a notice about a month and two weeks ahead and provided proof of the relocation. I left the apartment deep cleaned and due to travel logistics, I asked a friend to do the inspection. They charged me about R8k for “cleaning and painting “ the apartment. Mind you, I never got my deposit. What can I do in this case?
