Bad attitued and arrogence of manager

my wife called their collections manager, (who I won't mention here because my post will be taken down) and she says the guy was rude to her. I called him and I raised this with him, he asked me "what am I trying to achieve" and he told me "he won't stand for rudeness from customers". I asked him how was my wife rude, but he couldn't answer that question, and he told me "he wouldn't be involved in his wife's affairs". After that remark, I could definitely pick up his arrogance and he said "I should email their legal along with my legal team's details". Tell me if that is not arrogance at the highest form. Not even once did he apologize or sound remorseful. That guy is full of it and he wouldn't be confident about his behavior if somebody senior is not in his corner and condoning his behavior.
