Wrong shoe size delivery with little help to resolve

Crocs sent me the incorrect shoe size and have been absolutely unhelpful in rectifying it. The shoe I ordered was a 6 and they delivered a size 7. They then said it is because the shoe sizes are quoted in US terms which I found did not make sense because the actual shoe they sent had a size 7 imprinted on them.
