PATHETIC service at Waterfront Crocs store.
I needed to exchange a pair of crocs at the V&A Waterfront store, since they were the only store that had stock of the size I needed. I walked in, got the correct size from the shelf and walked to the counter ready to make the exchange. The lady behind the counter had an attitude from the get go. I greeted her, she did not greet me back or even acknowledge that I was standing at the till needing assistance. Again, I greeted and said "I need to make an exchange please" she says "what is coming back?" and I politely mentioned to her the size that needed to be returned. She does the return and hands me the exchange slip. No acknowledgment from her end. I said thank you and I proceeded to ask her if I could get a new bag as this was a gift for someone and the bag I had got ruined in the rain. She looked at me and said "you want to give someone a gift in a crocs bag, can you not buy a gift bag?" while handing me a new bag. At that point, I had no words and left the store. I felt disrespected and felt that she had no right to question me regarding what I can and cannot buy. She work for the Crocs brand and represents the brand. As an employee, you would encourage someone to use your branding, not bring the brand down and make customers feel low. She really made me feel terrible, she is not a great asset to the store or business. Terrible facial expressions and not approachable at all. Can't remember her name but it's something in the lines of Ally, Alice. She has curly/bushy hair and dark complexion.
