Horrible Customer service and limited knowledge

My daughter received a birthday gift and the size is small, went to Crocs Menlyn with the shoes unworn with tag still in tact. The store supervisor by the name of Eric refused to exchange the shoes as he says he can’t do anything. Do advice as to what I must do with the shoes
