Crocs slops SHRUNK in the not so hot sun

My boyfriend was given them as a present for his birthday in July. He WAS a big crocs fan - having had his last pair for years. After being left in the sun on our patio in spring in CApe Town (not particularly hot) they completely SHRUNK about 4 sizes. I spoke to CROCSA support and they informed us that this is general wear and tear. So if you want a pair of rather pricey slops for more than 6 months, I suggest you try another brand.
