Crocs are flops

I would prefer to give zero stars. Worst. Flip flops. Ever. Worst customer service as well. I was going to do hike on the wild coast. They said bring flip flops for the beach walking. I went to a local shoe store to look for a durable pair of flip flops. The sales lady assured me that Crocs were the best. Stupidly, I believed her, because I had heard that Crocs were comfortable shoes. Well, I paid R500 for the ugliest pair of flip flops ever that I'm sure only cost R2.50 to make from the off-cuts of tractor tyres. I wore them around the house a few times, but I can't say they were the most comfortable shoes. On the first day of the hike I strolled around the resort and the rock pools, taking photos before the start. When we got together to start the beach walk, I already had blisters. How is it possible to get blisters from flip flops??? As my hiking shoes were already packed and heading for overnight stop, I spent that day walking barefoot. When I tried contacting customer care on our return, they asked for photos and proof of payment, which I duly sent. Since then I have sent many emails but have yet to get a response. Not only are Crocs as ugly as the scabbed buttocks of an aging warthog, but they are about as comfortable as a bad case of haemorrhoids. And their customer service is about as useful.
