unfair charging of arrears by Impact Meter through their debt collectors Credit Intel

I had a very disappointing experience with this company. They sent me a communication claiming I owed money, but the invoice was confusing, listing multiple amounts. Initially, it stated that I owed around R400.

I reached out for clarification and spoke with an agent named Lorraine, who was unhelpful and insisted I refer to the statements for answers. When I tried to contact the office for assistance from someone else, I was told that Lorraine was the only one who could provide clarity. Despite my repeated questions, she continued to direct me back to the statements.

In just three weeks, the amount I supposedly owed doubled. When I contacted the company again to resolve the issue, I was informed that nothing could be done because Lorraine was the only person handling statements. The agents were rude, and it felt like they intentionally allowed accounts to accumulate arrears for profit.

I believe this company operates *********ly, and I would not recommend them.
