Credit Intel's high handed attitude

I have written over 40 emails to Credit intel and the most recent for the Attention Credit Intel CEO, a copy of which is set out below

I simply get escalations and they seem to appear to ignore any of my correspondence without even attempting to discuss the matter

I am writing to bring to your attention a matter concerning a billing dispute between Credit Intel and myself, acting on behalf of H H DURRHEIM PTY LTD trading as Medipost Pharmacy.

To provide context, I was contacted by Credit Intel regarding an outstanding payment allegedly owed by H H DURRHEIM PTY LTD. However, upon my initial request for details regarding the statement and invoice in question, I was met with limited information, which left me in the dark regarding the nature of the claim. Despite my repeated requests for clarification, Credit Intel only provided their Handover Statement & Invoices, failing to furnish me with the necessary details regarding the origin and validity of the claim.

It wasn't until 29 September that I received the original tax invoice from H H DURRHEIM PTY LTD, clarifying that the outstanding amount pertained to a medical aid claim, which had already been partially paid by the medical aid. Upon understanding the nature of the payment, I promptly settled the invoice in full and final settlement directly with H H DURRHEIM PTY LTD, as evidenced by the enclosed proof of payment in the amount of R2591.13.

However, despite settling the outstanding amount, Credit Intel has continued to pursue collection fees from me. I have consistently responded to their demands by providing copies of our extensive correspondence, which clearly demonstrates Credit Intel's failure to adequately address my inquiries and concerns. Despite my efforts to resolve the matter amicably, Credit Intel has persisted in their attempts to collect fees, threatening me with a "Default Listing" if I do not comply.

I firmly believe that Credit Intel's actions are unjustified and lack merit. Their negligence, tardiness, and lack of professionalism have unnecessarily prolonged this matter, resulting in additional fees that I am unwilling to pay on principle. I have made it abundantly clear on numerous occasions that I refuse to be held accountable for Credit Intel's shortcomings.

Furthermore, I wish to emphasize that the threat of a "Default Listing" holds no legal merit, and I reserve my rights to pursue punitive costs should Credit Intel proceed with such action. Additionally, in accordance with the complaints process outlined on the Credit Ombuds website, I hereby request intervention from the Ombud, as Credit Intel has failed to provide an appropriate response to this matter within the stipulated timeframe.

In conclusion, I urge you to review this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to rectify Credit Intel's mishandling of the situation. I trust that you will address this issue promptly and ensure that no further unwarranted actions are taken against me.
