In July 2011, 6 months after concluding a once off 'no contract' pay as you go deal with Alexander Miller(Imaginet) for the provision of one month internet access service. I started receiving demands from Credit Intel to please settle an account R300 along with some R 1000 in collection fees.<br> I have and have always kept a good credit record and was sure I have not neglected any payments, so I requested an invoice or an order from me to support their claim.<br> They promptly provided an invoice dated 7 months after the alleged non payment and a long story that they had a system failure. In the mean time I had gotten a response from my bank that the payment was processed on my credit card and I knew I have no outstanding moneys on their claim. They however continued harassing me by SMS sometimes daily. Eventually I consulted with a legal representative and instructed them to please direct all their communication at my legal representative. The same procedure ensued, they were unable to provide any documentation to support their claim to my laywers and declined to contest the matter in court after invitation. It is 4 years later, I am still regularly receiving insulting messages ...
