Cradle moon lakeside lodge disgusting service

Ive always wanted to come to this place. I finally did today seeing that its the long weekend 24 September 2021. On cultural day, the manager at the reataurant made it such a horrible experience. Completely ruined our day.

The sun was scotching hot, all umbrellas were taken and no shady place in sight. Our super helpful waiter Shadrack tried his best to try and find us a comfortable spot, even moving furniture around to try and provide us some shade. Rhankfully he ended up finding an umbrella and my pregnant sister helped putting it up. We the atepped away from the table to take pictures and a and the rudest person I have ever witnessed in my life who happens to be the manager named Aleina Nel (can’t spell) came and took our umbrella, when I got back to explain that we had gone to such great lengths to get it she disn’t care at all and told us we can use the tree for shade and that no umbrellas were allowed next to trees even though the couple she had given our umbrella to were also sitting next to a tree which did not provide any shade, the same way out tree didn’t have any shade.

She is obnoxious and should not be customer facing at all. She did not even try to treat us like paying customers and pretty much told us to **** off. I dont even want to play the race card because rude is rude, she is a disgusting manager.

Shadrack apologised profusely for the way we were treated, in my view Shadrack can teach his manager a whole lot about great customer service, he was super pleasant from the moment he greeted us. I will never return to this place and will make sure I tell everyone I know of my experience. Good thingI work in an enviroment that allows me to expose people like this. I most defintely will.
