A product that truly embodies the phrase “don’t believe everything you see online.”
In the words of Shania Twain: LET’S GO GIRLS…
If you read nothing else, let it be this: DO NOT purchase these bras, especially my big-busted ladies. A product that truly embodies the phrase “don’t believe everything you see online.”
That “thick band”, those “thick straps”, and that “incredible jelly support” you were promised by the influencer hype? None of it shows up. What arrives instead, is a flimsy, thin, and cheaply mass produced fast-fashion tragedy that couldn’t support a friend in need, let alone your double D’s.
I tried it on, laughed in disbelief, and promptly returned it to its Shein-adjacent packaging. Collection and refund requested within 48 hours.
Unsurprisingly, the support team offers even less support than the bra itself.
Replies are slow, inconsistent, and you can practically feel the attitude through the internet.
It also appears as if they do not communicate with their couriers whatsoever.
This led to multiple drivers going on a real-life scavenger hunt for a parcel that had already been scheduled for collection before I was even given the basic courtesy of clear confirmation of timing and availability. Naturally, they arrived. I was not there. Chaos ensued.
Then began the courier multiverse: three different companies, zero coordination, and absolutely nobody knowing where this bra was at any given moment. Everyone confused. Everyone calling me. And one last driver who contacted me asking if he could collect the parcel that, by that time, had already been collected. A ghost bra.
I flagged this obvious communication breakdown to the support agent, and to her credit she thanked me for my “feedback”, like I slipped a note into a dusty suggestion box.
The parcel has been sitting in their warehouse “for inspection” for a week now so I can receive a refund. After multiple follow-ups, I’ve received nothing but silence and emotional damage from the 2 minutes I spent wearing the bra.
So, I have officially arrived to join the 1-star brigade.
If only I read the reviews before ordering. But alas, I too believed the (American?) influencers.
Wish I could give 0 stars, but I’ll generously award one, for the smooth ordering process. Everything after that could very easily be featured in the Buzzfeed “What I Ordered vs What I Got” archives.
