WHY NO CALL

I am awaiting a package from Telkom to be delivered by Courierit. I received the sms with the waybill number. Went onto the net to see where it is. Very excited as I am receiving it today. No package. No call. As I am working full time I can not sit at home waiting for them. Got home at 14:30. At 15:27 the driver phoned me, but being in my work room I did not hear the phone. Delivery man did not bother to ring the bell even. At 15:58 I phoned him back and said I am home. His answer was he will see if he delivers. At 17:34 the package is booked back into the system with the description: not available and now it is marked to be delivered when? ON MONDAY!! On Monday I will be back at work and will only be home at 16:00. So I guess I will not receive my package and suppose it will eventually be returned to Telkom. Really, does couriers not work after 16:00 and weekends? I told the driver I will be at home the whole weekend and yet it will only be delivered on Monday? What must I do to get my package?
