Unprofessional conduct by courierit driver

Courierit were to pick up a return for makro. Their driver cellno. *** came to the property at around 14:40. We were at the doctor and my son told the driver that he would call us to confirm return. The driver did not want to wait and said that he had another return to pick up and would be back shortly. I called him at around 15:30 and enquired when he would be back. He said that he was too far away and would be coming in the next morning. I told him that this was unprofessional as he had promised my son that he would be back shortly to collect. Why does he not have a little patience for 1 phone call which would have take 15 seconds. Also he had promised to come back.This is unacceptable as we had waited weeks for this return to be collected
