Unprofessional

I was expecting a package from Courierit. I received an sms that my parcel would be delivered today by 5pm. I have been home the holiday and no driver from Courierit showed up. I even kept my gate open and car outside so that it would be visible that there was someone in the house. At 5.20 I received an sms that they weren't able to deliver the package. And when i checked on the website, the comment was 'Closed on Arrival'. What was closed??? It's a house! The consigner indicated that I would be penalised if the package was undelivered. Who is going to pay for this??? Such lies!! So disgraceful and unprofessional! Coincidentally DSV managed to deliver a separate package for me today!!
