The Nightmare that is Courierit!

I’m appalled that even after these reviews, I was subjected to Courierit! iStore has to do much, much better! I made a purchase online on 06 April 2023 and later got a text message confirming delivery would be done on 08 April 2023 by Courierit. On 08 April 2023, I received a further sms that they (Courierit) were on their way to deliver only to get a further sms that they were unable to deliver. Just like that! I am not sure how they attempted delivery because I never got a call from them. I Then googled their number (Courierit) and phoned them which obviously rang unattended, the same thing that other reviews point to. I then emailed them requesting details of where I could collect the parcel myself, no response was received until 11 April 2023 saying that they would deliver on 12 April 2023. I phoned Courierit upon receiving their email and I spoke to a lady who refused to spell her name out when I asked her how her name is written and she got so angry about it. Eventually, I got the spelling as Leihanta who said she would “look for my parcel on the floor” and come back to me inside of thirty minutes. Needless to say, she failed to phone back until all of two hours and a minute later still saying “she will look for my parcel on the floor”! I explained that I had to be out of Cape Town by noon and it was an hour and thirty minutes before that and she promised to call back within thirty minutes. Again, she did not! I then received a call from iStore and they wanted to know the difficulty I was ostensibly encountering and I recounted the above, however, they could not assist as the parcel was out of their hands. I hitherto cancelled the order. It is astounding how a brand like iStore associates with Courierit.
