POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I am utterly disappointed by courierit, I was told my delivery was sent back because of the incorrect documents, when I follow up and enquire with the customer care deparment I was told its because of the incorrect address issued by CELL C . My question is why was I not called by the courier company to confirm the address and do they not contact the customer before delivery
