Keep to your sms 08h00 to 17h00

I had a parcel delivery from Takelot, I was informed by Takelot that it would be delivered between 08h00 and 17h00 on the 7th February 2023, so I took afternoon off to receive the parcel. Courierit working hours is also between 08h00 to 17h00. I got message from Courierit that it would be delivered with no time. When 17h00 passed I start preparing for evening (supper, a bath etc). So when they came at 18h30 they want me to open in my PJ's. Women alone at home. I hate after 17h00 deliveries. Why didn't they came before 17h00 as per Takealot sms or normal working hours. I retire soon then they can come anytime of day so why only after 17h00 for residential areas. Are you stingy and don't want to pay for phone call to make better arrangements.
