Diabolical trying to deal with this company

<p>I was approached by a Telkom team of girls to sign up for an LTE service. All paper work was completed and address as well as contact numbers provided for them to courier an LTE modem to my home address, </p> <p>After waiting for more than 2 weeks I finally contacted Courier IT to find out what had happend to my package and as it happened was told that the item was being returned to sender as they could not locate my address.</p> <p>The joke of the matter was that I live in a well known street in Cape Town and that all my contact numbers were there for just such an event as a driver not being able to find me.</p> <p>Courier IT then proceded to get the parcel back to Cape Town and said I would receive it the next day, I had to be there to sign for the item so I asked if it could be delivered the following day. Imagine my surprise when I got home and found that the item had been delivered and signed for by one of my employees. </p> <p>I contacted Courier IT the next day and told them what had happened and the was informed that it should never have been signed for by anyone other than myself which opened up a whole new can of worms to sort out. I had to supply RICA documents for them to process this **** up.</p> <p>This was all done within minutes from my side and the documents were sent and acknowledged by Courier IT. I was then told it would take 48 hours for the modem to be activated and all would be well. </p> <p>This happend almost 2 weeks ago and I still have no activation as well as nobody that can assist me in getting this sorted. The appalling level of *********** service in this country is unimaginable and can only be attributed to the fact that we no longer have anybody to address issues like this and get shunted from pillar to post hoping that somebody may be able to help.</p> <p>My last resort is now to try and cancel this contract and get Telkom to take back what they say I don't have and leave me to carry on as I hvae before.</p> <p> </p> <p>Yours sincerely</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Grant Poulton</p> <p> </p>
