On Thursday, 10 July 2025, I booked and paid for their Express Overnight service to send a parcel from Johannesburg to Cape Town — guaranteed delivery by Friday, 11 July. Not only did Courier IT fail to collect the parcel, but when I contacted their Client Support, I was told by a representative named Thembi that because I’m not an account holder, the express service “does not apply” to me.
Let that sink in: I paid for a service, but was told it doesn’t apply to me because I’m not a corporate client. 🤯
Thembi then casually mentioned that if the parcel is collected on Friday, it might be delivered by Monday. This is a complete breach of agreement, false advertising, and discriminatory treatment of paying customers.
I requested an immediate refund — which was refused. I was told I’d be charged a cancellation fee, even though Courier IT failed to deliver the service I paid for. Thembi escalated the issue (or so she claimed), then passed me off to someone else (Melissa), who requested my banking details — and still, no refund.
This experience raises serious concerns about:
I’m sharing this not just out of frustration, but to warn other individuals and small businesses who rely on courier services to operate. We deserve better.
📢 Courier IT — I’m still waiting for my refund and an explanation.
