Confusion on whether they are delivering or not

What a shambles... we get SMS messages in the morning saying it is from Courierit and our parcel is out for delivery and we must stay available. On day 2 my wife actually called them and they confirmed the parcel was on the truck for delivery and then confirmed the address with the driver. An SMS is again sent end of day two that delivery failed so I phone them and the agent says the parcel is still there in the cage and never went out for delivery as they could not reach me (my phone shows no missed calls). They also says they do not send out those SMS messages even though it says it is from Courierit. Two days of sitting at home and having confirmed this. It really wastes our time. It is Telkom making use of this and they should rethink using this service provider. Agent was very friendly on the phone though.
