Wrong Colour House
It is my 1st time buying a house and yes it took long for them to start building it but I understood. When I was informed that my house was 80% complete, I was delighted and went to view the house but when I got there I was shocked to find that it's a colour that I told the agent specifically that I did not want. When I complained to him that the house is the wrong colour, he said that unfortunately comso chooses the colors for us and that I do not have a choice to choose between the peach or the other darker Colour for my house. Which I think is absurd because it needs to be built to my specifications. I am not happy at all and this should be my happy moment...

You had purchased a specific spec of house whereby no changes can be made. Since we build in batches for better quality control, plans are "pre-approved" being all inclusive of paint colour, tile colour etc
This "pre- approved plan and spec should have been clearly explained by our sales person at point of sale.
Should our sales person not have impressed this upon you, we have additional checks in place to ensure there is no confusion as to what you are buying.
We have these additional checks in place specifically for the reason that we never bring about changes on these house plans, colours etc. Our role-out planning for each batch per extension are put through well in advance with suppliers and contractors.
Our admin team, as part of our bond approval process, calls and confirms with you upon your acceptance of your bond grant that you have seen your stand, understand your price structure, house spec etc- this includes the "pre-chosen "colour scheme. You have signed for this on your acceptance of bond and on your price structure.
We do accept that there may have been a misunderstanding in the process. I will speak to the team leader on your transaction to make contact with you this morning regards your post to ensure that our policy and process was correctly followed.
We conclude with this response on Hello Peter. Our team leader will make contact with you from this point.

Thank you for clarifying. I wish the consultant had been as transparent as you are when I had initially told him that I wanted a darker coloured house. If this had been communicated at the beginning, I would not have had certain expectations. Thank you for the clarity and speedy response. I did get contacted and I know fully understand.
