UNRESOLVED MOULD AND MOISTURE PROBLEMS

My house is part of a new housing development, yet when I moved in, I discovered mould on the walls. I have reported this problem on more than five occasions and repeatedly explained that the mould and excessive moisture are affecting my family's health and our ability to live comfortably in the house.

Despite my repeated complaints and attempts to explain the seriousness of the situation, the response has been inadequate. The only interventions that have been carried out are painting the affected wall and replacing the kitchen cabinet. Unfortunately, these measures do not appear to have resolved the underlying mould and moisture problem.

I am deeply concerned that my complaints are not being taken seriously. This is not simply a cosmetic problem that can be resolved by painting over the affected areas. The continued presence of mould and moisture raises serious concerns about the condition of the property and the health and well-being of my family. The situation has also affected our ability to sleep peacefully at night.

I have even suggested that my family and I be temporarily moved to alternative accommodation while the necessary investigations and repairs are carried out, with the understanding that we would return once the problem has been properly resolved. However, it appears that this reasonable temporary solution has not been given the consideration it deserves.

I find it unacceptable that, after repeatedly reporting this issue and explaining its impact on my family, I am still living with the same problem without a clear and effective resolution plan
