Sky City A Disappointment

I app**** for a house at SkyCity in Aug 2017 and I was approved in Sep 2017, when I app**** I was told by the Tsholo the agent that the process will take 06-8 months and I expected we would have moved in by now. Beginning March the agent Informed me that they have started building and the house was 4%, end March we went to check and there was a structure but no roof no nothing and so was the other houses next to my house. From there on I've been there to check every weekend and no work has been done till now, but all the houses around my house are now almost done but were built at the same time, why is that? I don't understand the unfairness, how is it possible to build house1,2,3 skip 4 go to 5,6 and 7 but all these house were started at the same time? Is there a fee that everybody else is paying that we were not told about? I have lodged a complaint with Tsholo but she told me she does'nt know why there's no movement in my house , also called Tshepang and sent her an email but she also doesnt know, she only informed me that the house is still in construction, Under construction where when in the last 3 months nothing has been done to that house!

So now what must I do?who knows what's going on? when will my house be built and finished?

I'm very disappointed with the service I've received at Sky City, when I bought that house I expected peace of mind. I wish I would have done proper research before signing anything with cosmopolitan projects, and if there was a way I would just cancel the whole thing .

Dear Mr Khangale

As per our telephone discussion, we have identified your concern that there has been no movement on your house in comparison to other houses in the immediate area.

The house is now at 40 %, which is not a delay since plan was approved by council in mid March only. As explained the other houses' plans were approved prior to yours and there for will be further along. However as discussed I do understand your urgency and we will do our best to assist.

I will arrange with Project Management to give me an estimated time when the house will be ready for handover .

We will speak again tomorrow once I have the information.

Hi Isalina, I'm still waiting on the feedback you said you will give me the next day from my initial complaint, I tried to call you the whole day yesterday 26 June, and I was told you are in meetings, I requested that you give me a call when you were done with meetings but I you never called. It's a disappointment that I haven't received any update on the house even thought you said we will be kept updated, did you even arrange with the Project Manager to give you an estimated time, or you were also unable to get hold of them? Cancel this house, I want to buy a house from a proper company and move my family in, i can't be chasing Cosmopolitan projects everyday for a house I will be paying for the next 20 years.

Hi I was on site Sunday the 2 July 2018 the house is still in the same position, you promised to phone me on Monday the 18 June 2018 but you did not do so, I asked you to cancel the deal and still I did not get any feedback from you, You guys are *******, false adverti*****t, people must know what kind of ***** you are, cosmopolitan project is a ****

You promise to phone me last week Thursday the 5th July 2018 but you did not do so,eveytime when I phone your office you are not available, I left voicemail you dont bother to call back, I am now gonna take this further, I will lodge a complain with ombudsman and public protector, I will also take this to radio, the public must know how **** you people are, people need to be aware of your ****s, cosmopolitan is no go,

I' ve been tracking your house daily! I am very happy to say, I expect to receive your key tomorrow. Your house had final inspection on 27th July. Our quality control picked up a few minor touch up issues.

I will call you tomorrow morning to give you the latest news.
